Dr Tal Jacobson
TAL JACOBSON, MA MBBS MRCOG FRANZCOG, is a Senior Lecturer and Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Auckland and Middlemore Hospital. He is the clinical lead for laparoscopic gynaecological surgery at Counties Manukau DHB.
He trained in the UK at Cambridge, Oxford and London, completing a Fellowship in minimal access (keyhole) gynaecological surgery at St Bartholomew's and the Royal London Hospitals. His original research on endometriosis, pelvic pain, infertility, and techniques of safe laparoscopic surgery has been published in peer reviewed journals and presented at international conferences. He has been awarded the Cutler's Company Surgical Fellowship and several other prizes and awards for his minimal access surgery research. Tal specialises in the management of endometriosis, pelvic pain, fibroids, infertility, menstrual disorders and complications of early pregnancy. He has a patient centred philosophy providing effective, efficient and evidence-based care. He has an approachable manner and works in partnership with patients through good communication and accessibility.  Contact
